Job Description

This position is for our dynamic Fortune 500 partner in the Corning Valley.

This is a permanent position.

Responsible for supporting agency technology. Duties include configuration, installation, and support of PC hardware, software, and peripherals. Provide end user support and training.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of a variety of computer platforms, networks, software applications, and operating systems is required. Methods and techniques used in the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PCs, printers and related equipment is required. Experience with firewalls, switches, routers, phone systems, handheld devices and wireless access is necessary. Possessing the principals and practices of customer service and good problem solving abilities is highly desirable.

Must have vehicle for transportation.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is desired. Associates or specialty certification (MCSA, MCSE, or CCA or other relevant certification) plus a minimum of two years of relevant experience working in a technical environment would be considered.
