This Senior Systems Analyst role is involved with a wide variety of activities, from working closely with internal customers to working with internal management and vendors. This position requires the individual to act as Senior Analyst performing a vast array of services, administration, solutions and guidance as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
A broad technical background and wide breath of experience in systems management, technology leadership and management, server, desktop, network, storage and related Windows and networking systems and associated peripherals. Areas of responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Design, engineer, implement, and manage server, desktop and network systems
  • Plan, manage and communicate system maintenance activities
  • Create and maintain documentation of all relevant specifications, systems, and procedures
  • Assist management to provide direction and decision-making guidance to drive project and other support efforts o Own current technologies, upgrade technologies and management these initiatives moving forward o Perform and implementation of new or upgraded solutions and the implementation of those solutions
  • Gather and analyze customer requirements to design and recommend solutions that meet business requirements
  • Own and develop process, documentation and operational improvements and best practices
  • Provide support and mentoring to lower level IT team members
Experience Required:
  • Minimum 5 years supporting a client-server environment
  • Extensive experience with various network infrastructure and server systems and technologies
  • Planning, implementation and ongoing support of various network infrastructure and server systems and technologies
  • Supporting Windows architectures including server and networking
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems as well as virtualization technologies
  • Planning, implementation and ongoing support of virtualized environments focusing on Cloud technologies
  • Troubleshooting and providing desktop support, as well as server/network support highly demanding environment

  • Strong knowledge of Wireless systems and associated interconnectivity devices
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications including Office, Windows, SharePoint, Office 365
  • Strong knowledge of system backup and recovery
  • Strong knowledge of server and desktop virtualization, VMware and Microsoft
  • Strong knowledge of shared storage in SAN and NAS environments
  • Experience in the installation, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows systems and associated devices/peripherals for both server and desktop
  • Amazon Virtualization experience for desktop, server, file/print, and storage systems is highly desirable
  • HIPAA and PCI experience for desktop, server and networking compliance is highly desirable
  • Excellent troubleshooting, root cause analysis and test planning skills
